You no longer have to be a huge SEO nerd (like me 🤓) to improve your website’s rankings on Google! There’s, finally, a much easier way for you to impact how and where your website shows up when clients look for you online.

SEO = strategy + a bunch of little tweaks.

To show up on search engines, there’s no single step you can take. It’s a bunch of little ones that all add up.

Step 1: Decide which keywords you want your website to rank for (and that usually means doing a little research, and you have our Finding Good SEO Keywords Course for that!)

Step 2: Make as many little adjustments as you can to support your keywords.

But, your job is providing therapy, not staying on top of every Google algorithm change.

As a private practice therapist, you are the accountant, marketer, and admin all at the same time. You don’t also need to be an SEO expert!

If you are using Squarespace, and you want affordable results, check out SEOSpace.

SEOSpace is the first-ever SEO plugin for Squarespace.

This tool will scan your website for and tell you if your page has any common SEO problems such as:

  • Broken links

  • Images that are too large

  • Missing SEO keywords and descriptions

  • Whether your site is indexed by Google

  • Issues with word count

  • Whether you are “cannibalizing” any of your keywords on other pages

They stay on top of the latest best practices, so you don’t have to! All you have to do is hit “scan” and then follow the suggestions they provide. They will recommend things like:

  • Which keywords to use

  • How to write your page description

  • What other pages on your site need work

Take a peek behind the scenes as I use this tool on my own website to optimize my content!

I used to have a “throw everything at the wall and see what sticks” approach. Now that I have SEOSpace in my toolkit I can spend less time and have a much greater impact on my rankings which feels amazing.

I don’t recommend products that I don’t stand by, and this one is no exception. I’ve been using this on both my client’s websites and my own and have seen substantial and fast results!

Hope this helps you as much as it’s helped me and my clients!
